In Rotterdam there is a few historic sites as the city was destroyed by bombardment during the second WW. Instead of rebuilding old houses in the city center the Dutchmen decided to build brand new and very modern city. That’s why we can nowadays admire the sloping Cube Houses, sublime Erasmus Bridge or Blaak Tower nicknamed The Pencil.
